Blaze Restoration, Inc. is a highly specialized restoration company providing services for insured, residential, and commercial customers after a property loss. After a covered loss occurs, the insurance companies pay the costs for the restoration or replacement of the loss. Our company works with the policy holder to assist in their recovery. Blaze's policy, whenever possible, is to reduce costs by estimating on the basis of restoration, not replacement. 2004  Expansions
Blaze Restoration, Inc. expanded its facilities and equipment to better serve our customers. A 13,000 square foot expansion was completed including a large warehouse for production of content cleaning and storage. Customer’s belongings are cleaned, inventoried and stored in a secure, climate-controlled facility that is state of the art.

Another large warehouse was built for water damage restoration including the emergency response equipment used for extractions and dry-outs (seen below). A large training facility was also built as well as office expansion to the already 3600 square foot space currently used.

2005 Expansions
Welcome Abbey Carpet Cleaning, a new division of Blaze Restoration, Inc. Abbey has IICRC certified technicians who are available Monday-Saturday to care for your carpet, rug or upholstery cleaning needs. The company has been providing the Quad-Cities cleaning services for 7 years and the affiliation with Blaze Restoration, Inc. is a natural extension of full-service that customers appreciate!

2006 Expansions
Congratulations to Recently Promoted Employees, and Welcome to ServiceMaster by Blaze!

Blaze Restoration president, Michael Simons recently announced the promotions of Shawn Cathcart to Branch Manager of Blaze Restoration - Galesburg Branch, and Allen Nylin to Branch Manager of ServiceMaster by Blaze.  Blaze also announced the acquisition of a ServiceMaster Clean franchise and simultaneous expansion of services into West Central Illinois with the opening of a new Blaze/ServiceMaster location at 588 South Farnham Street, Galesburg, IL.
Shawn Cathcart joined Blaze in January of 1999, most recently serving as Estimator/Project Manager and Coordinator of Blaze’s participation in the State Farm Premiere Service Program.  Born in Moline, Mr. Cathcart owned and operated his own construction firms prior to joining Blaze, and has over 23 years of construction management experience.
Allen Nylin joined Blaze in June, 2005 as Manager of Blaze’s Abbey Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration Divisions.  Originally from Keithsburg, IL, Mr. Nylin served in The US Army Old Guard ~ Fort Meyer, VA for three years prior to owning and operating the former Abbey Carpet Cleaning business.  Mr. Nylin holds Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) certifications as a Water Restoration Technician and Commercial Maintenance Technician, as well as being Dewald Drying Institute-Certified for Vortex Drying.

Blaze provides in- house restoration services for both residential and commercial customers. We will assume responsibility for the customer’s total recovery!

During the first few days following the loss, steps are taken by Blaze to ensure site containment and project analysis. Our estimator will meet with the customer to gather input regarding the restoration project and review the reconstruction process. Hands on and repeated experience with virtually every kind of casualty loss makes Blaze uniquely qualified to evaluate a situation and propose the optimal solution.

Our customers are provided with information to assist them with their recovery. Next, the preparation of a detailed damage survey for repairs is completed and discussed with the insurance company involved in the loss. Every section of the detailed report is understandable and absolutely reliable for settlement purposes. Our experience with casualty enables Blaze to propose the most cost effective approach to handling the loss.

We utilize our own certified, professional employees to ensure high quality services. These employees are experienced at assisting people who require special assistance because of their loss.
